W. Christian Krankemann is a partner with the law firm of Lanahan & Reilley.
Mr. Krankemann is a member of the Firm's Personal Injury litigation group, Tax Planning, and Business litigation group. Mr. Krankemann's practice consists of all aspects of civil litigiation; offshore and domestic asset protection; and international and domestic taxation.
Mr. Krankemann has considerable jury trial experience in handling personal injury; breach of contract; and construction defect cases. This trial experience, combined with his international tax background, provides unique insight into the asset protection and preservation needs of both commercial and high net worth individual clients. These offshore and domestic asset protection structures allow clients to protect cash, marketable securities, closely held business interests, receivables, and other personal property interests in addition to facilitating the transfer of wealth to other family members while discouraging attacks from creditors.
Mr. Krankemann is admitted to practice law in California and in Tennessee. He received his law degree from Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia where he also earned an L.L.M. (Masters of Law) degree in International Taxation. Mr. Krankemann received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from West Virginia State College, graduating magna cum laude, and served as President of Psi Chi (the National Honor Society in Psychology.)
